Effect

• Upon death, Isaac will respawn as (???) ??? in the most recent non-hostile room, with 3 (Soul Heart) Soul Hearts.

Notes

• Resurrection items activate in a set order. Ankh is (Removed in Repentance) 6th / (Added in Repentance) 8th in this order after (Added in Repentance)(Soul of Lazarus) Soul of Lazarus, 1up!, (Lazarus) Lazarus' extra life, Dead Cat, (Added in Repentance) Inner Child, Guppy's Collar, and Lazarus' Rags.
• Like other items that grant an extra life, but respawn Isaac as a different character, all completion marks earned from the moment of death onward will count towards the new character, not the old.
• (Added in Repentance) During (Added in Repentance) (The Beast) The Beast fight, Isaac respawns in the place he died.

Synergies

• (Added in Repentance) Birthright: Dying and reviving as ??? will give him full benefit of Birthright, which is doubling all soul hearts gained from health ups.
• (Added in Repentance) (Tainted ???) Tainted ???: Revives as himself, rather than normal ???. Effectively acts as a 1up!.
